Win XP
OE 6

I get at least a one-second delay between hitting the DEL key and a
letter being eaten up. If I hold it for about 5 seconds and then let
go a number of letters get eaten up... I get this delay with no other
keys and in no other software applications.

Thanks to the genius who knows how to fix this one!

You can try compacting your mailbox. My Outlook Express got so slow I
switched to Thunderbird. Everything imported without problems. I
recommend it.

I've done that a few times with absolutely no change... I'm thinking
of switching to Thunderbird as well as I am already using Firefox...
Glad to hear you have no problems exporting emails and it sped up your
email experience...

Thanks.
