I have recently been through a nasty divorce and have pretty much had
to start all over.  I have had huge bills stacking up from the divorce
and must pay them now.  My court approved settlement is to be paid to
me on 6/26/05 but I need approx. 80k of the 150k earlier than
this[massive late /interest fees]  I did have enough money from
earlier portion of settlement to buy a home 4 mths ago.
Is there anyone who will do a fast loan based on using the upcoming
setlement as collateral?

My credit was very good up until divorce.  now it is in fairly
sad[although explainable under the circumstances] but I would not want
to use it as a factor.

Talk to the bank about a shortterm (?) loan secured by a lien on your house.

I second what Myoarin said.  Go to your bank and get an equity line of
credit on your residence.  This is safe, secure, shouldn't cost any
points or anything (see bank of america).  Best of luck.
