Hi, I need total # of broadband users in the US, ie: 15M (include
source) AND a breakdown of the total number by income level (incl
source). Example: there are 15M broadband users in the US. 63% have
income over 150K, 23% have income 50-100K, 15% have income below 50K.
Can you provide this?

There are 7,873,000 online users with total household incomes of $150K+.
69% of them have broadband connections.
Therefore there are 5,432,370 broadband users with total household
incomes of $150K+.

There are 17,786,000 online users with total household incomes of
$100,000 - 149,999
61% of them have broadband connections.
Therefore there are 10,849,460 broadband users with total household
incomes of $100,000 - 149,999

There are 26,393,000 online users with total household incomes of
$75,000 - 99,999
50% of them have broadband connections.
Therefore there are 13,196,500 broadband users with total household
incomes of $ 75,000 - 99,999.

There are 42,473,000 online users with total household incomes of
$ 50,000 - 74,999
46% of them have broadband connections.
Therefore there are 19,537,580 broadband users with total household
incomes of $ 50,000 - 74,999.

There are 37,826,000 online users with total household incomes of
$ 25,000 - 49,999
36% of them have broadband connections.
Therefore there are 13,617,360 broadband users with total household
incomes of $ 25,000 - 49,999.

There are 9,399,000 online users with total household incomes of
$ 0 - 24,999
25% of them have broadband connections
Therefore there are 2,349,750 broadband users with total household
incomes of $ 0 - 24,999.

I used the following data to calculate the above:

Online Users (2004) Total Household Income
7,873,000                $ 150,000 +
17,786,000               $ 100,000 - 149,999
26,393,000               $ 75,000 - 99,999
42,473,000               $ 50,000 - 74,999
37,826,000               $ 25,000 - 49,999
9,399,000                $ 0 - 24,999

Income Level            Broadband
$ 150,000+              69%
$ 100,000 - 149,999     61%
$ 75,000 - 99,999       50%
$ 50,000 - 74,999       46%
$ 25,000 - 49,999       36%
$ 0 - 24,999            25%
