I'm looking at getting the Nikon Coolpix 8800. However, I'm concerned that the slow speed will prevent me from making animated rotating images using a motorized turntable like: http://www.adorama.com/IKAPMMT.html The Coolpix 8800 can take a bunch of pictures quickly in continuous mode, but I can't tell how controllable the speed is. Basically, it boils down to this. I need to change the speed of the camera and/or the turntable to take 8 pictures or 16 pictures per rotation. I'd prefer that it not take more than 10 seconds to do that since I may need to do this many times. Can it be done with this camera? |
