Trying to download an upgrade into my TI-83 plus calculator and the file: 
TI83plus_os.8xu will not open...tells me to go online...what should I
do? The program is suppost to be free. Do I need a special program to
open files or this particular file.
All instructions were tripled checked to make sure that nothing was
left out, also when I check for connectivity, it does not recognize
anything connected for example com1 or com2 or com3 or USB...I have it
connected in the USB as instructed...My computer is a Dell inspiron
85000. If you need more info, let me know, please....
