Can you find any articles or online references to anyone suing The
Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS)?
Specifically, I'd like to see if any students who attended an ACICS
accredited school later sued the ACICS. To give more detail, the
ACICS does independent accreditation of schools, but it appears some
of these schools are defrauding students. I'd like to find out if
ACICS has ever been held responsible for accrediting a school that was
later discovered to be fraudulent.

The only suit I could find against ACICS was filed by a school that
was contesting their denial of accreditation. Nor are there any
complaints against ACICS filed at the Better Business Bureau.

Doesn't seem like quite the sort of information you're looking for, though.

Is it?

Can you please tell me if Stratford University is going to close due
to its ACICS denial of re-accredidation?
