Question ID: 529118
Can anyone suggest good sites for kids between ages 1 and 2? My kid is
now 1 year and I'm running out of ideas in the house (apartment in
multi-story building). Over the weekends we go out. Sometimes I'm in a
dilemma to which types of places I can take my kid.
I'm looking for any type of suggestions and some web sites also.
Please don't mind, but please suggest something for each season,
especially winter. I'm in Westchester County, NY.

Hi Persenr-ga,

I have been look for websites for 1 to 2 year olds, but beyond some
sweetsie pictures that he or she could smile back at, it doesn't seem
like the web is catering to that age group - yet. ;-)

You make Westchester sound like a wasteland for young mothers. (I
thought they were networking with others from the hospital or from
pregnancy courses, but I guess that isn't the case.)

If you search with "westchester county" infant child
you can find lots of sites, many that are not appropriate, of course
(I hope), but some that could give you suggestions.
And maybe these sites could be of interest to you:

http://urbanbaby.com/

I hope this comment from (male) me, will incite all the mothers here
to prove that there is a lot more and better to recommend.

I'm not sure about age, but you may want to check out
http://www.neopets.com . I know it's popular for kids.

Hi Persenr-ga

I too have been looking for websites for ideas to do with my 18 month
old, but like myoarin-ga was saying there really isnt anything. I did
however find that at
http://www.fisherprice.com
you can click on your childs age under the 'grow-with-me parenting
guide' and it gives some fun activities to do in your home.

I hope this helps.
