Question ID: 529127
Back in the early nineties I had a cassette of Sade. It was a single
with one of her morepopular songs on one side of it and another song
on the other side. It was basically an instrumental and one of her
finer works (even if she wasn't singing). The name of the song was
Room 27 ,or Room 67, or Room 77, or Room something like that. I have
searched high and low and can't find this song anywhere. Even die-hard
Sade fans have NO IDEA what I am talking about as they claim to have
everything ever sang by her. {Obviously, I highly doubt that!!!}

Dear camilleleeanne,

Is it possible that the title was "Room 55"?

Please let me know.

Dear camilleleeanne,

I'm glad to know that I obviously identified the song. Unfortunately,
that particular recording is very rare and hard to get. It was never
issued on any Sade album, only on a vinyl 45 and a Maxi CD single in
the UK. Both were released in 1992 and are long out of print now. And
they are rare collectors' items now.

However, I fortunately located one copy of the Maxi CD for sale at a
specialized British online store, Matt's CD Singles, for £7.00 /
$12.60 (scroll a bit down to see it):

For additional information, you might want to contact the store:

THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH SCRIPTOR!!!
You're amazing! The info you gave me for the U.K. music store was very
helpful, although the online bank they're using seems to have
difficulty accepting American transactions. (It gives you a prompt for
the "Expiration date on the credit card" as usual, but then it ALSO
prompts for the "Issue date of the credit card as well". ISSUE date???
And this was one of those questions you couldnt skip over because then
the form would be'incomplete'. Weird huh?
Anyway, I'm going to e-mail Mr. Matt and see if we could try a
different e-bank, or if all else fails, I can snail-mail him the money
in Dollars or in Lire.
Anway. THANKS AGAIN!!!
Camille Leanne

expected! I hope that you'll soon hold that CD in your hands.
