I have modified the view for Activities in the Outlook Contacts form
by adding a few columns with the field chooser and changing the way it
sorts. I would like to transfer these settings to another PC and would
like to know how to do that or where Outlook stores these settings.

I have tried to save it as a new form and transfer that, but
apparently the view settings in the form aren't part of the
information stored with the form.

I have also tried to use the Copy folder design command, but that only
copies folder views and not views in the form.

Hi sherpaj,

Have you tried to copy it from your contact folder's properties box?

Right click on your Contacts Folder.
Select Properties / Activities tab.
Select Contacts / Click Copy.

See Figure 3.26 (bottom of page):

Please let me know if that helps!

Hi
I am assuming that by form u mean the no of fields and sorting options
on the activities tab when a contact is opened.
I know for sure that these options are copied when the outlook.pst
from the folder,

C:\Documents and Settings\sukhjeet\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook

so that is where they are stored by outlook. I have copied the
outlook.pst and saved it in the other computer - these settings are
visible in the new computer.

Please let me know if this answers ur question.

So the solution is - make a backup of ur outlook.pst, delete all
mails/contacts etc from the current outlook.pst, and send it to the
other computers.
This was they will have the same view.
Then restore ur own outlook.pst.

If u r just shifting computers, copying ur own outlook.pst will be enough.
