IF MY BOYFRIEND WHO I LIVE WITH QUICK CLAIMED HIS HOUSE TO ME  BECAUSE
OF A POSSIBILITY OF BEING SUED WOULD THIS PROTECT THE HOUSE FROM BEING
SOLD OFF AS AN ASSET   IF IT WAS DEEDED IN MY NAME ONLY

Probably not. If your boyfriend loses the suit the court will look
upon the quit-claim transfer as a attempt to defraud his creditors.
The court has the power to reverse the transfer and probably will.
