Given that my friend absolutely adores this "restaurant", how often would it be wise to eat there without adversely affecting his long term health. He doesn't smoke, and does anearobic exercise, but hardly any aerobic. Furthermore, he is also in love with Dwights (a southern BBQ restaurant - in philly). What's healthier, Dwights or China King? |

HI, Not wanting to be fresh, but how should we know? It depends on what he chooses to eat - and how much. Chinese food can be very healthful. Stir-fried cooking of vegetables in wok considered to be an excellent method, but maybe your friend prefers other dishes. I expect that BBQ restaurant menues are high on meat content, which is looked down on by dietitians - especially red meat - and one often associates "greasy vegetables" as a side dish to a BBQ dinner. But, again, this may not be the case in that restuarant or what he chooses. Dwights or China King? Oh, or is the question 'cause you don't like one or the other or both? :-) If it's a good Chinese restaurant, I would prefer the greater selection compared with what I expect a BBQ place offers. Or buy a good cookbook - "Joy of Cooking". Myoarin |
