For the Seattle concert in Oct 2005 at the Key Arena, there are floor sections AA and BB - 2 sections each. Between these sections is a secondary stage. My question is.. what rows are in the first section of AA/BB (for example, rows 1-10? 1-20?) and what rows are in the second section of AA/BB? Also, the secondary stage - how is it accessed? Are the catwalks around the outside of the floor area? Or is there a catwalk down the middle of the floor area? |

Deb -- I'm not sure that anyone knows yet, especially since the 'Stones have taken over the stage design of this tour and specifically created "in stage" seating. (I'm in Seattle and listen to KMTT regularly, so this is information based not on Internet search but local news.) I'd actually recommend contacting KMTT via e-mail or phone to see if anyone in the concert loop has better information. And, of course, there are other radio stations in the city too, it's just that I've found The Mountain to be very responsive -- http://www.kmtt.com/peopleandprograms.asp Best regards, Omnivorous-GA |

Ok, regarding your question, judging by several maps of the KeyArena that I've looked at, as well as some Rolling Stones info I remember from the last tour.... The first section are most likely the first 15 rows, I think they were called something like Hot Seats...(sp?) Also the Stones are NOTORIOUS for their b-stages (though U2's b-stages are more original). Both of these bands have the same tour architect, Mark Fisher (www.stufish.com). Judging from the gap between sections AA and BB, and also from tours like Licks, Bridges, etc, it will be in the middle. In fact, crew members will be able to walk underneath the catwalk and b-stage, just like they would under the main stage. If you've got tickets in either section, then you're pretty much well-set my friend. -Derek |
