I saw that reference also but could not determine whether Edistone Ltd
was actually a publishing company.  I have sent off an email and if it
turns out to be  the author I seek, the question is answered.

I found him by doing the following.

1. Searched Google for: Keith Blacker, author of "The Basics of
Electronic Data Interchange in Manufacturing"

2. I clicked on: http://www.tesco.com/books/browse.aspx?N=269+10

3. I found the book was published by Edistone Books

4. I searched for "Keith Blacker" in Google.

5. Result #4 showed keith.blacker@edistone.com in the description, so
I clicked on that result, bring me to:
http://www.welshtimberforum.co.uk/english/directors.asp

6. He is listed as the Treasurer in the 5th row.
