the market for Americana music (can include Appalachian folk,
bluegrass, Texas Swing, Roots country, zydeco/cajun, honky-tonk and
even delta blues, but keep blues data separate)
- Number of stations playing Americana formats
- Cd or download sales by year
- Listenership on XM X-country station
- Would even be interested in anecdotal information such as box
office, DVD and CD sales for "O Brother Where Art Thou" movie and
soundtrack, and its sequel the "Down from the Mountain" series, or
annual attendance at Bonnaroo festival over the past several years
(acts have heavy Americana orientation)
