Hello, I need research on the history of electronic books (e-books).
Three failed products are the Rocketbook, Softbook, and the EB
Dedicated Reader but I am hoping that you can find more. The products
that I'm interested in are all dedicated hardware for book reading
(not PDAs, tablets, or some other general PC device). I would be
interested in seeing a comprehensive list of failed devices, basics on
launch date, price, parent company, etc. Also required are links to
various reviews of the products and especially any articles looking at
why these e-book products failed. Was it lack of content, pricing, or
problems with the devices? If any new products are coming to market,
I'd also be interested in that. thanks
