What are the most frequently newly set up businesses in the USA (for
example) in the past couple of years. i.e. I am looking to set up a
new business (franchise or otherwise), which will have revenues in
excess of $400,000. If you can tell me what businesses are 'hot',
successful, or 'new' in the USA or other countries then I can do
further research on them. The $400k minimum revenue is to weed out
small 'work at home' type small businesses. Thanks

Hi,
I have major problems trying to get you on the phone post our last call.
From the little we did speak here are my comments:
> I am in Ireland and key stats that might help are:
   - Ireland (Republic) has a ?4m population - growing strongly
   - Dublin (where I live) has 1.2m people
   - per capitia income, in the top 10 in the world
   - strong growth, virtually full employment

> Even retail shops (i.e. grocery type) can turnover $2.5m to $5m
dollars. So, technology is not the only way forward.
> I have sold two software business that I ran for 20 years
