Hi jimen,

Please take a look at these excerpts and let me know if this answers your question:

"Two brothers, David and John Livingstone had very different goals for
their lives.
John dreamed of being rich and famous.
From a young age, David dreamed of following Christ.
Both boys achieved their goals.

John Livingstone became a rich and famous lawyer in England.
David Livingstone became a medical missionary to Africa.
David was never wealthy, although he did become famous
as one of the best-known missionaries of the 19th Century.

In David?s later years,
he was offered the chance to return to England as a hero
and live out his last days in comfort.
Here was his chance to bask in the admiration of the people,
to reap the rewards of years of missionary service.
Instead, David chose to remain in Africa,
where he lived in poverty, and died of a tropical disease.

Both brothers lived out their dreams.
And yet, on John Livingstone?s tomb, at his own request,
are engraved these words:
?Here lies the brother of David Livingstone.?"

"Two lives, two goals
Nearly 200 years ago there were two Scottish brothers named John and
David Livingstone. John had set his mind on making money and becoming
wealthy, and he did. But under his name in an old edition of the
"Encyclopaedia Britannica" John Livingstone is listed simply as "the
brother of David Livingstone.""

Dear Rainbow,

Yes, I think that clarifies the question, obviously I was wrong about
the emigration!

Many thanks!
