I need a comparison matrix that compares and contrasts MS Access, MS SQL Server, DB2, and Oracle. The matrix needs to be very comprehensive and in table matrix format. It needs to compare and contrast the lastest versions of the databases. A powerpoint presentation would also be helpful. |

Here is good URL to get started with. I believe it will help give most of the info you are looking for with the exception of MS Access. It has lot of options for configuring custom DB comparisons. There are also more options at the bottom of the page. "Database Server Feature Comparisons" http://dev.mysql.com/tech-resources/crash-me.php?advanced=1 Here is a URL to some sample output I generated using the URL from above based on what I read that you were looking for. http://dev.mysql.com/tech-resources/crash-me.php?res_id=646 Also, I found other comparisons that may be helpful. "A Comparison of SQL Server 2000 with Access 2000" http://www.databasejournal.com/features/mssql/article.php/2204341 "A Comparison of Oracle 9i with DB2 v8.1" http://www.databasejournal.com/sqletc/article.php/26861_3075071_2 Hope this helps. Good luck. |
