Dear The Network,

Elrond is right in their comment, that it would be helpful to specify
what you meant by "European"; however - I have a more important
question.

In the title you've written "operating in the musical business" , in
the question body "in the business of musicals" - did you mean
companies involved in producing musicals (musical theatrical
productions); or companies involved in music production (audio CDs,
etc.)?

Companies involved in producing musicals (musical theatrical productions)
European = Parent company in Europe or a parent company situated in
the rest of the world with subsidiary(ies) in Europe
Large companies = Group turnover of USD 50 M

In Germany THE main production Company is called Stage Holding (see
stageholding.de), producing most of the popular larger musicals.

Les Miserables is produced by the artinia agency (artinia.de), but I
dont know, how large this company is.
