Hello Pal,

I am totally ignorant and am not sure how to proceed regarding this.

I would like to know how Yahoo and other music websites are able to
play audio/video of famous artists on their site.

Does Yahoo pay them or are they all advertised and freely given away
by the artists/productions of those records for publicity?

I would like to play the latest songs-audio/video in my commercial
website and charge ppl for it. what do you think I need to do?

Would the sales/profits of these music production companies increase
or decrease if I start up such a website?

Most important thing I would be interested in knowing is::::::::

Does yahoo have to strike-a-deal with all the production companies
like shady records and etc etc.... who produce these records or is
there another way ???

Thanks for your time. May be I am unable to afford alot at this
time...but will surely comeback.

Alex.
