Thank you for your clarification.
You asked, "Do you think that if he was recently arrested it just
hasn't shown up somewhere." That could very well be the case;
however, if he was arrested and is still being held, then I would
assume he would be listed in one of the inmate directories above. If
he was released on bail and awaiting trial/sentencing, I doubt you
would find him located in the inmate searches above. I think those
list only those who were arrested, served and released or still
serving time. If he is on bail and he goes to trial, you can get
copies of the criminal court records for a fee. However, you will
need to know what county the trial was held in.
I am posting the identical information below so that the question may
be officially answered.
If I can be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to ask!

I did a lot of searching on the internet but I am unable to find any

4. I doubled checked a private database I use to conduct skip
searches and that property is listed as being owned by ?Dent David
Smith?, age 47, born approximately 1958. ( http://www.accurint.com )
= = = = = = = = = = = =
5. I found his voter registration card to confirm his middle name.
It has him listed as ?Dent David Smith? as well so I am pretty
positive this is the one you are looking for. You can view his card
at:

6. I also searched the ?Judgment Roll? but found no ?Dent David Smith?.
= = = = = = = = = = = =
7. I went back and checked the Inmate Locater site and Parole Board
site looking under ?David Smith? and returned a few hits but only one
that is close in age/year of birth. The information is listed as:
Name: DAVID SMITH
Race BLACK
Sex MALE
DOB 6/22/1959
Height 6' 0''
Weight 155
However, you can see that he was arrested for burglary so I don't
think this would be the person we are looking for.

8. I checked the Federal Bureau of Prisons Inmate Locator site but no
?Dent David Smith?, ?Dent Smith? or ?David Smith? was found. You can

There are a lot of sites out there that claim they can give you the
arrest report for a fee but without knowing for sure if he was
arrested, it?s a waste of time and money. If you could find out for
sure that he was arrested (verify more information through friends and
family) and in which county, you could possibly obtain his criminal
court record IF he has been to trial.
Official court records held by the Clerk of the Court are presumed to
be open to any member of the public for inspection or to obtain copies
at all times during regular hours of operation at the office having
custody of the records to the extent allowed by applicable statute,
court rule or court order. The procedure for obtaining a criminal
record varies depending upon the jurisdiction, which holds the record,
and the purpose for which you require the record.
County Courts in Mississippi handle cases under its three divisions:
1. Civil Division
2. Criminal Division
3. Youth Court Division.
The County Court has jurisdiction concurrent with the Justice Court in:
1. All criminal matters of misdemeanors and felony preliminary
hearings;
2. Jurisdiction of felony cases, except capital offenses, when the
Circuit Court transfers such cases to it;
3. Jurisdiction of criminal cases appealed from the Justice Court and
Municipal Courts.
These cases are files in the Civil Division and Criminal Division of
the County Court. Being that drug trafficking is a criminal offense,
I would naturally assume if a case was brought against him, it would
be in the District Court of the county he committed the crime in.
I am sorry I wasn't able to provide a clearer answer for you. If you
find any other information that you want me to look into, please let
me know.
