i am trying to get information on my own person, what specific sites I
can access to get info about where I lived when I was 1 to 5 years old
this is in 1950 to 1955 in raymondville Texas. It is over 50 years
ago and most help on internet goes only 20 years ago. |

Have you tried asking older family members about your early childhood?
Parents, Aunts, Uncles, older siblings?

neotech999-ga,
I presume you know your own date of birth, but if not, that
information can be found in online archives for Willacy County.
As to your address, your best bet is probably to request a copy of
your birth certificate, which can be had from the Texas Department of
Health.
In addition, the Valley Morning Star -- a 1950's era newspaper from
Harlingen (near Raymondville) -- can be searched online. Actual pages
from the paper can be accessed for a fee. The newspaper has tons of
articles on Raymondville, though it may or may not have anything
specific to your family, depending on how newsworthy they were at the
time.
Let me know if these are of interest to you as an answer to your question.

Your question is difficult to answer in the abstract.
Your parents may have been mentioned in the local newspaper I referred
to, so that seems worth checking.
If they were homeowners, there are probably old property records in
the county clerks office that would indicate this.
Google Answers is a public forum -- anyone can read whatever is posted
here. If you are comfortable posting your parents' names here (and if
possible, their old address in Raymondville) then please do so, and
I'll see if any further information seems to be available.
Thanks.
