I am in search of a career, most likely in sales or marketing. I have
a BA in Communication Studies and about 5 years experience in Sales,
working for a small company (under 5 million in revenue.) I enjoy
where I am currently at, only I feel that I have reached the maximum
potential for $$ earnings. I am looking for a career that will give
me the ability to grow (maybe a company like Google?.hint). I am a
great salesman, I am a people person that loves to interact. I do not
want to sell stocks because I dont want to be stuck on the hours of
the market. My other passion in life is judo. I have won national
championships and international championships. I have traveled around
the world for judo. I have lots of contacts around the country and
around the world. I could give more information about my
qualifications or a link to my personal website if needed, I just
don?t how much info Google Answers will allow.
What I am looking for is a list of possible employers (5-10) or
contacts (South Bay Area,CA) that would be interested in what i have
to offer.
I do not have a tech background but I am Internet savvy, and I know
how to deal with people...(I can sell anything if someone can give me
a chance to learn the product or service). I am not afraid of hard
work; training for the Olympics has made me understand what hard work
really is. I do not really like dealing with job websites as they
usually email me with junk positions. I don?t want to sell printing
machines or stationary. I am interested in e-commerce. I already look
and craigslist, tribe.net, career builder and monster on a regular
basis, so I don?t need links to those sites. I am looking for some
advice to lead me in the right direction. |
