i have pop from yahoo. But at work my enterprise firewall blocks the
port. However ssh port is open. Can someone tell me how to pop my
yahoo email via ssh.
I am not sure if yahoo itself supports ssh- queries  to yahoo havent
turned up anything.
For receive pop.mail.yahoo.com
For send smtp.mail.yahoo.com

You need an account on some box outside your firewall running an SSH server.
   ssh -L 1100:pop.mail.yahoo.com:110  outside.example.com
While that is running point your POP client at port 1100 of the box
where you ran the ssh command.

If the firewall is intended to block mail access and you don't have
permission for this it could get you into trouble.  You will need to
trust the operator
of the SSH server with your mail.
