Who Does the Voiceovers for the sbc and lowes tv comercials?

Thank you for this "vocal" question! After calling both PR directors
for the companies, I can tell you for sure who those voices are in the
Lowe's and SBC commercials.

I have had confirmation from Chris Ahearn, Lowe's PR director, that
Gene Hackman is the voice in their commercials. I'm waiting for
confirmation from SBC, to post this as a formal answer. 

Also, I spoke with Selim Bingol's office, he is the Public Affairs
director for SBC, and it is indeed Tommy Lee Jones' voice in their new
series of commercials. I hope this helps!

Stephen Caudill is a possibility. He has done commercials for Lowe's
and for BellSouth (BellSouth, like SBC, is one of the "Baby Bell"
phone companies.)

I've always thought the voice for the SBC commericials was Tommy Lee
Jones, and the one for Lowe's was Gene Hackman. If I can verify this
with the companies tomorrow, I'll post this as a formal answer.
