I am looking for motor vehicle sales volume and purchaser demographic
information by model line.  I need the info by country for at least
the largest [by total sales volume] 10 markets [countries] and for at
least the past 10 years.

The answer should be a site, data set, etc, where I can enter, for
example, "BMW Z3" and get the following info by country: Sales volume
[by year, by basic trim level, i.e. convertible vs. coupe] and
corresponding purchaser demographic info [Age, Income, %Male/%Female,
%Married].

I need all vehicles [foreign and domestic].

I am not looking for a fee-service here, I already know that I can get
this info from R.L. Polk or J.D Power [they are getting the data from
somewhere though, and I just need the basic info, not lots of bells
and whistles].

If I may offer an opinion...

Even without the bells and whistles, you are still asking for detailed
and proprietary market data that can only be had from reports costing
thousands of dollars.

I sincerely doubt that anyone will be able to provide such information
here, even at the maximum fee of $200.

However...I've been surprised before, so who knows.  Still, you may
want to consider revising your question to make it a bit more
approachable.

Thanks for the feedback.  I'd love to make it more approachable, but
unfortunately that's the data that I need, and anything less just
isn't that useful.  I'm waiting to hear back from both J.D. Powers and
Polk on pricing.  There are certainly options for the data that aren't
proprietary - such as vehicle registration information from DMV's that
are used to populate Experian's National Vehicle Database.  My
question here was in the hope that someone could locate a government
or institutional site that had composite data from similar sources.
