Our company (leadcleaner.com) allows direct marketers to put up a lead
capture Web site, so that, rather than completing a BRC or calling a
1-800 number, respondents can just visit an URL, answer a few
questions, and receive an online incentive (such as a white paper).
We'd like to show the cost savings for doing all this online, vs. the
old-fashioned methods. You can assume a response group of around 1500
individuals, since our audience is typically high-tech or C-level
professionals.
I'd like to find out the average industry cost (per unit) for
* Receiving, processing, and tabulating a BRC (business reply card)
* Handling and entering a call to a toll-free number in response to a
direct mail campaign
* Fulfilling an incentive request for a white paper (i.e., printing,
binding, and mailing a 25-35 page white paper to a DM respondent)
