How can I find a puppy that is 1/2 Border Collie and 1/2 Cocker
Spaniel located in Tennessee (the closer to Murfreesboro, Tennessee,
the better, also, located in Central Florida is an option, although
much, much less desirable OR located anywhere that will safely and
cheaply transport the puppy to your location). The 1/2 Border Collie
portion is set in stone but depending on the other breed the 1/2
Cocker Spaniel portion is negotiable but must be a small - medium
sized breed that is a friendly breed and not overly active (the Border
Collie part takes care of all the activity we'll need in a dog). Thank
you so, so much! I appreciate the time and effort taken to answer this
question as it is like finding a family member to us.

This is Buddy, an approximately 5 month old neutered male border
collie mix. Buddy is heartworm negative, on preventative and fully
vaccinated. This youngster would make a wonderful family pet; he is
great with children and other dogs; will bark at cats but does not
chase them. He would fit into almost any situation; with his medium
energy level he would do well in either a house or an apartment. He is
very very sweet and lovable, is crate and house trained.

Meet Monty and Missy, two border collie mix siblings. Monty and Missy
are about 18-20 months old and each weigh about 50 lbs. They are
smooth-coated dogs with beautiful markings.

Monty and Missy are current on all vaccinations. They are also crate
trained and have been outside dogs. Their crates and doghouse come
with them. Their owners are moving and can't take Monty and Missy with
them.

Collie Rescue last year. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations

is not yet house trained, he is a really smart youngster and it won't

3 Month Old Border Collie Mix Babys For Sale!

Hello! Thank you very much for your information - the only thing that
concerns me is that in some of their descriptions it sounds like these
puppies were put up for sale/adoption months ago.  My heart just
melted when I saw some of those pictures and I started writing down
all kinds of contact info but then I read in several of them things
like "got 1st booster shot today (1/6/05)" and other things very
similar indicating that the description was written some time ago. 
I'm worried I'm going to start emailing and calling these shelters and
find that they're all gone and then I'll be back to where I was
before. Any way to get similar results that are more current so I'll
have a better chance of finding our new, furry family member?  Thank
you so much - this is very important to me and I'm sure you took alot
of time finding the information you already found for me (and I do
appreciate it), I just don't want to be disappointed and frustrated
all over again after trying to contact these people/shelters.

pups are still available.  Even when an ad is placed in a daily
newspaper there is no quarantee that what is being advertised is still
available.

Petfinders.com is a very well known source and I personally know
people who visited the site, made contact and obtained dogs that were
listed.

As for the dates listed on vaccinations/shots this is to give the
interested party an idea of when the shots where given - it doesn't
mean the dog has been adopted and it doesn't mean the dog hasn't been
adopted.  It's just a marker.

I know it seems like a lot of work narrowing down the possibilities,
but this is the best I can do.  I provided you with all the available
information I could locate during a web search so you can find a nice
puppy! :)

Very helpful and gave thorough explanations. I didn't see anything for
a border collie/ cocker spaniel mix like I was trying to find but I
think that was probably harder to search for. Thank you for your help!
I have never done this before so I didn't know anything about a tip. I
probably would have made my question for a little less and the tip for
more so the researcher could keep more of the money. I'll know for
next time!
