I need 6 pieces of information that can probably be found on the
Wal-Mart (stock symbol WMT) financial statements. I need the info for
fiscal year end 2004 (jan 31 2005) and fiscal year end 2003 (jan 31
2004). The information can be rounded to the nearest million just
like in the financial statements. The data I need is the following:

1. Interest before income taxes
2. Interest Expense
3. Income before income taxes
4. Book value per share
5. Holding period of AP
6. Tax Rate

Hi! I can provide the some of the information you asked except for
"Holding period of AP". Would this be ok as answer?

Thanks!

Hi again grizz2003-ga!

In Number 1, do you mean "Earnings Before Interest And Taxes" instead
of "Interest before income taxes"?

Thanks again!

Grizz --

The reason that Easterangel's being so cautious about AP "holding
period" is that it's certainly not in any public document. However,
the financial reports will have "days payable" in Accounts Payable,
which can be figured by calculating:
end-of-year AP/average days' sales

And Easterangel, my apologies if I'm adding to the work . . .

Best regards,

Omnivorous-GA

Hi again!

It seems that the figures do not format properly here. Here is a link
to a copy of the Microsoft Word file I made so you can see the figures
in a better view.
