I need a list of politically active feminist or women's organizations
in Japan. These organizations can be directed towards Japanese women,
Korean or Chinese women living in Japan, women in Asia, or women in
all countries - as long as
the organization is either based in or has a branch in Japan. Links
for each of these types of organizations would be nice, but inevitably
some of the categories I just listed will have more sites than others.
Please include both the name of the organization and its website. The
website can be in either English or Japanese.

Now, this part is important: I do NOT want organizations in Tokyo. I
want them in the following areas: Kyoto, Kobe, Osaka and Kyushu. If
there is an organization that is based in Tokyo but has a branch in
one of those four areas, that is also acceptable. Please provide a
list of organizations in each area.

Hi!

I was able to find other organizations outside of Tokyo but not within
the 4 areeas you mentioned.

Will this be fine with you?

Thanks!

Thanks for your help. The organizations really need to be either in
those areas or very close to them. Unlike Kyoto, Kobe and Osaka,
Kyushu is fairly large island so there must be something there I would
assume. Also, if this helps I found one organization myself in Kyoto
(http://www.wings-kyoto.jp/eng/) and one in Osaka
(http://www.dawncenter.or.jp/english/). Those might give you some idea
of some of the sites I'm looking for. Keep in mind though, the
organizations do not necessarily have to be pushing for women's issues
- they can be organizations run primarily by women that are interested
in critiqing foreign policy, environmental regulations, the Iraq war,
etc. Also, any websites which are not part of real world organizations
but which provide an online forum for political discussion among
Japanese women would be extremely useful. The more of these online
debates between women, the better as those have been difficult to
find. If you need any more clarification, do not hesitate to ask for
it. Thanks and I appreciate your work. Just out of pure curiosity
though, which areas did you find some organizations in (this is just
curiosity, you don't have to list them)?
