I need to find a way to get information on civil lawsuits (not
criminal)...I need to know if there is a place where I can buy lists
of people that have been sued in a civil trial and the outcome of the
lawsuit. Randy |

Hi, Randy!
Are you looking for this kind of info on a nationwide basis, or only
in your home state of Georgia?

hey, Pink......nationwide and this is so very important to me. If I
have to take the info state by state, I will......My company offers
safe havens for people;s savings from lawsuits and I thought no better
place to find potential customers than people that had been sued at
some point in their life. I do need addresses as well as their name.

business. Hunded dollar tip waiting.....Randy

Let me try to narrow this search.....I'm looking for people in the
state of Georgia that have been defendents in civil lawsuits tried in
Superior Court. It is of no importance whether they won or lost but
just got sued. No criminal suit research is required. Just civil
lawsuits. I know this is public information but I just don't know who
accumulates this information and how I can get it. A tremendous tip
is in order here and everyone knows I'm a man of my word. Thanks,
Randy.

Randy,
I have located an online search engine that brings up court records by
county. It appears that in Georgia, only Chatham, Cobb, DeKalb,
Gwinnett, and Fulton Counties are available. The search engine
permits you to sort the entire court docket by type of document. If
you use it to search for "Answer," which is the document that a civil
defendant must file in response to the complaint against him, that
will allow you to view each answer filed in those counties and
ascertain the defendants' names. You can also search for "final
decrees," to determine outcomes of civil trials, "arbitration awards,"
to determine arbitration outcomes, and so on.
This service also appears to apply to other states as well, but I
didn't check it for those other states.
Will this site serve as an answer to your question? It's rather
cumbersome, as it doesn't give a list of names up front, but requires
you to click on each document in turn to see the names of the people
involved.

the defendent....let me know...Randy.........I will still be grateful

Darnit! Randy, I just went and checked again, and my initial
description was incorrect -- the site I found only acts as a portal to
various county court clerk sites, and it is THOSE SITES that determine
how your search may proceed. So each county's site is different.
I'm awfully sorry to disappoint.
In any event, the site is http://www.publicrecordfinder.com/courtrecords2.html
and you may have some luck fishing around in it, but it isn't nearly
as helpful as I thought it would be.
Sorry I couldn't be more help, and good luck!

Hello again, Randy. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find anything for
you this time, but it was not for lack of trying. I suggest that you
leave this question open for a while to see whether anyone else can
help.

Hello Randy,
Pulling out lawsuit information really is a county by county task, and
the process differs for each county.
An alternative to consider may be some of the mailing list houses that
make available lists of people who have had liens filed against their
property and/or people who have filed for bankruptcy.
You can see a description of one such list here:

PROFILE
The Bankruptcies Database is a comprehensive nationwide database,
which consists of individuals who have filed for bankruptcy, or who
have a court tax lien or judgement against them. Approximately 75,000
new records are added to the database each month. The records are
received directly from the court system and other public records.
With their debts removed, or being controlled by the courts, the
individuals in this database have stabilized their financial problems
and adhere to regular schedules of payments. Freed of prior debt with
their financial problems resolved, these individuals will ultimately
have a positive cash flow. Although they are eager to get on with
their lives, they are selective in their purchasing habits - and have
subsequently been shown to be good credit risks.

Insurance Companies, Car Dealerships, Credit Cards, and Financial Services
