Hi,

Unfortunately you have two separate issues to deal with. I'll start
with your second question.

SO HOW CAN I REDIRECT PEOPLE TO MY NEW SITE?

I did a quick WHOIS search on your old domain and found this.
"Status: PROTECTED
Note: To help prevent malicious domain hijacking and domain
transfer errors, the registrar has protected the registrant
of this domain name registrant by locking it. Any attempted
transfers will be denied at the registry until the registrant
requests otherwise. The registrant for the name may unlock
the name at any time at the current registrar in order for
        a transfer initiation to succeed."

That means you cannot use the the traditional way of redirecting your
site, i.e., by placing standard commands in files on your server.

Your second question is a bit more complex.
I cant find any way to get it, posted that I have moved or I am ranked
pretty high with Google but its showing a site that was closed.
"How can I get into those comments from google's search, and give my
new address "BEHEMOTHTOOLS.COM" for "BEHEMOTH WOODTURNING TOOLS"?"

I saw that your old domain came up first in the listings when you used
the keywords "woodturning tools".

Based on my understanding of Google rankings this is for two reasons.
You are listed in the ODP for that category and you have a derivitive
of the key words in your URL. Here's the catch.

I saw that you updated your ODP listing to your new URL. That's
exactly what you needed to do (along with asking all the other sites
that provided you with links to update those links). Unfortunately
Google is among the last to update its OPD index. It sometimes takes
between 6-8 weeks for your new ODP listing to appear on Google's
index.

The Google spider will eventually find your new domain and spider it
and put those new pages in its directory. When the Google spider does
not find your old pages, they will drop those.

Typically the Google spider visits a site during one set of days/month
and then refreshes its data base. During the 2002 calendar year, the
update had occured sometime during the last week of the month.

So, for example, if the Google spider visited your new domain at the
end of July or the beginning of August, you should see the new
listings at the beginning of September. It all depends on when the
Google spider visits. You can tell by looking at your server logs and
seeing a listing for craw#.googlebot.com

Probably the best place to get answers and insight into how Google
operates is by using the Webmaster's World google forum.
http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum3/index.htm

Again, unfortunatley, I've read stories similar to yours on the Google
forum. The webmasters usually note that it takes between one and three
months for the problems to resolve themselves.

Please note: I am an idependent contractor for Google and not an
employee. Therefore, the answer I provided is based on my work as a
webmaster. I use Webmaster's World to gather my insight into how the
Google search works.

The Open Directory, described above, can be found at:
http://dmoz.org/

The open directory provides the basis for the Google directory:
http://directory.google.com/

A friendly Open Directory editor updated your URL, which means that as
Google and the other ODP data users update their data, your site will
become linked from their directories by the new URL. Although not all
update their data, there are presently approximately 266 sites which
base their directories on ODP data:
http://dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/Searching/Directories/Open_Directory_Project/Sites_Using_ODP_Data/

If you search Google for links to your site, you can contact the
websites who link to you and ask that they correct their links.

Was someone else able to register your domain to their name, or did
the hosting company somehow cancel your service?

A Whois search turns up the following:

Domain name: HBWOODTURNER.COM

Registrant Contact:

   Dalton Monka (monkatruck@hotmail.com)
   (513) 638-3374
   58 Dixons St.
   Cincinnati, OH 45279
   US

Is the above person you, or do you mean that someone else was able to
register the name you previously owned?

If you still own the domain name, it's relatively easy. All you need
to do is to sign up for a domain redirect service, often provided by
your hosting company. There are also several independent domain
redirect services out there. One I have been using for about the past
two years, and am happy with, is http://www.active-domain.com (I have
no affiliation with them whatsoever, besides being a customer.)
