I am looking for a company that will consolidate my private student
loans for a fixed rate.(not variable).  I have done some research and
only come up with companies that will offer a variable rate, which I
am not interested in.  I have over 70K in law school private debt,
currently at climbing interest rates ranging from 6 to 9%.  My federal
loans are already consolidated. I can not do a home equity line of
credit and do not have any problems making monthly payments thus I am not
interested in any bankruptcy or debt counseling services.  I

I think you should try using lendingtree.com. They work like brokers
and search for the best rates for loans.
