Hi!

I am looking for a reference to a scientific research which focuses on
the political behavior of Jewish immigrants from the former soviet
union to the US between who immigrated during the nineties (1990+).

For this question to be complete, all the following condition should be fulfilled:
1.	A detailed reference to an easily accessible research paper and
whose raw data is available upon request
2.	The research is concerned with Jewish immigrants from the former Soviet Union.
3.	The research is concerned with the abovementioned immigrants that
immigrated to the US. In other words, the research populations should
be from the continental US.
4.	The research should focus on immigrants who immigrated during the
nineties (1990+).
5.	The research should have monitored major parameters of ?political
behavior?, that is - political attitudes, beliefs, and opinions as
well as actual behavior of the studied population.

Thanks for your help!
Jimmy

Sarah,

I think Jimmy would have probably thanked you for your efforts.
However, none answers his question : they are either generally about
political behaviour of Jews in general; on the Soviet immigration to
Israel (not to the US); or about the former, 1970s, wave.

Here's one of the better surveys of such population that I am aware
of: http://www.elinagorelik.net/emigrantsurvey/ . It covers 1987 and
onward but of respondents are in 1990+ category. If you include 1989,
you're good to go, statistically speaking. Politics is covered briefly
in the last 3 questions. (They're in overwhelming favor of Democrats.
Is anyone surprised?)
