I?m looking for an interactive website that will calculate the current
and past value of the US dollar based on one of the consumer price
indexes (or other indexes).  Something similar to the way Oanda.com
will calculate currency exchange rates for past dates.

What is a dollar worth?

Directions: Enter years as 4 digits (i.e. 1913) through 2005. Enter
dollar amount without commas or $ sign in box on first line. Click
