Where can I find the Wummerlin Script SSK Bold Typeface?

Request for Question Clarification by purplecat-ga on 12 Aug 2002 03:40 PDT
Is this the correct or only spelling, as a search of several search
engines has resulted in 'no documents found' containing 'Wummerlin'.
Similarly with websites which offer fonts for download. Do you recall
what type of font it was, e.g. formal, calligraphy, handwriting etc?
Do you recall in what context it would be used and the approximate
time the font dates from? Any further information you may have might
help in tracing this for you.

Thanks,

Purplecat.

Unfortunately this is the only spelling that I have of this Font. It
is a very heavy font. Apparently this font came in a "Word" package. I
don't know anymore about. That is all I can give. I hope that this
helps

Sorry I do not know what version of MS Word it comes from, but
gathering by the client, I assume that it is not too old a copy

When you say a "Word" package, do you mean, like Microsoft Word? I
cannot find this Font on the internet so far, but agree that this font
name sounds aggrivatingly familiar. I checked my Font Collection
software and it was absent from there, too. However, I have access to
just about every version of MS Office ever put out on the market
(including the "oldies"), so if you could remember the version of MS
Word it seemed to be present in, I will go retrieve it and put it up
on the web so that you can get it. Otherwise, I will set off to
checking every version myself.

GOOD LUCK,
dexter

Alright, I will see if I can't track it down in some of the newer
versions. I think I can get access to all of those and check their
font manager. It may have been a specially-installed font,
unfortunately. But, if it was part of the standard package, I am sure
that we will find it!
