I am looking for a village in France. I believe it is called Saint
Ilere but I am not sure of the spelling. I  believe it is in northern
France but am not certain.
Please could confirm the correct spelling of the village name. Please also
advise where it is located.

Perhaps this question is best answered by reference to a large French
road atlas.  My Michelin Atlas Routier France lists these.  Even this
list may not be complete - who knows if every village has been
indexed?

 first number [name] = departement
 second number = map page (larger numbers are further South) 
 map square 
 direction from nearby town

 ### is one of those found by politicalguru


The map numbers run from West to East and then North to South, so low
map numbers are in the North.
