Question ID: 535611
I need a list of the top Australian celebrities. They need to be
alive and current. I am not necessarily looking for the likes of
Nicole kidman or Russell Crowe who are huge here in the states. I am
looking for the hot celebrities to Australians. Who are the top
TV/movie stars. I need biographical information on them as well,
likes dislikes, any current endorsements they are doing.

Hi vic4444-ga:

How many "hot celebrities" and "TV/movie stars" would you consider to
be sufficient as "a list"?

tutuzdad-ga

Clarification of Question by vic4444-ga on 21 Jun 2005 14:48 PDT
well, that depends, sometimes you can find a list all in one shot. You
know how you see top 25 celebrities or top 50. Like when people
magazine does their 50 most beautiful people issue?

But if I can get a list of at least 10-15 TOP australian celebs along
with any pertinent information that would be good.

Request for Question Clarification by tutuzdad-ga on 21 Jun 2005 16:18 PDT
Hmm. Whether or not a person is a "TOP" celebrity is really a matter
of media opinion but I'll certainly see what I can do to find a few
top celebs.

Clarification of Question by vic4444-ga on 21 Jun 2005 16:44 PDT
that isall i can ask at this point....I mean I want what people in
Australia think. I did not have time to navigate but maybe this can
help you too!

http://entertainment.news.com.au/ I pulled a little from the "top
stories" but maybe there is more you can get by doing some real
digging on it. How about that my helping the researcher : )

Hello again Vic4444,

Please take a look at the "Official Rankings" of Australian
celebrities for May 2005. This is a monthly ranking system of the
Australian television industry's hottest celebrities. There are two
listings; one is for male celebrities and the other for female
celebrities.

There are 50 celebrity names with their photograph on each list.
A biography for each celebrity is also provided by clicking on their name.

Here is a link to the list of the top male celebrities.
http://www.hottestontv.com.au/?section=official&page=def

Where it says ?View All Official Rankings? choose ?May 2005 - female?
to see get the top female celebrity listing.
http://www.hottestontv.com.au/?section=official&page=def

Please let me know if these official rankings would be a satisfactory
answer to your question?

Thanks,

Clarification of Question by vic4444-ga on 22 Jun 2005 09:48 PDT
Hi Bobbie, thanks for the information, seems to be helpful. Now I
jsut have to sort through and determine if they are really hot or not!
Sometimes it is difficult to determine how reliable the information
really is. meaning who really makes this decision. How many people
are surveyed. But I might find something out of this.

Any actors from movies that you can find?

Australia Conquers Hollywood

?There's a new A-list in town, and Tom Cruise isn't on it. Neither is

echelons of stardom. From the Oscars to the box office, from
