Dear Google researcher...

Please describe the steps to homologate a medical degree from an
European Union university in Switzerland. 

I also have specific questions, that can increase the amount I will
pay for the answer. In case you are able to answer them, please post a
request for clarification, and we can discuss it to reach a fair
amount, OR I can post them as individual, separate questions, directed
to the Researcher who is able to answer them.

My specific questions are:
1)Does it make any difference to hold an EU citizenship (for the
process of getting the medical degree homologated in Switzerland)?
2)What if I'm in the process of getting an European Union citizenship,
considering that it will take about 2 years...should it be better to
wait for the request of homologation of the medical degree till the EU
citizenship is granted?
3)What if I apply with my current non-EU citizenship...will I be able
to get the EU medical degree homologated in Switzerland, at least for
practising Medicine under supervision (e.g. in a Hospital)? I know
that a Federal Diploma (which allows the holder to have medical
private practice) is only granted directly to EU nationals, or after
having passed an special test.

Apparently, there is no unified policy in Switzerland : 
"Although Switzerland has a Federal Office of Public Health, the
responsibility for health care rests mainly with the cantons. Their
executive branches have a health care office or a directorate. The
construction and management of hospitals and clinics are the
responsibility of the cantons and the communes. Except for a military
hospital in Novaggio there are no health care facilities run by the
Federal Government. Due to these circumstances the Federal Office of
Public Health has no legal grounds to assess foreign medical degrees
valid for the whole of Switzerland. This lies solely within the
competence of each cantonal health authority."

There are 26 cantons in Switzerland, and quite frankly, I think the it
would take more time than usually associated with $10 questions to
investigate 26 different policies/processes.
