I'm running Exchange 2000 (Outlook 2000 or XP on the front end, with Outlook Web Access turned on) and SQL Server 2000. I've got a SQL database, and I want to gain information to the information store in Exchange, specifically calendar items. In perusing the Microsoft site, I see mentions of making the Exchange information store accessible through some combination of OLE DB and/or ODBC. I need to know where to go to find instructions on how to make the Exchange 2000 information store accessible to another application (in this case, SQL Server). My goal is to make my SQL queries read from/write to the Exchange information store. Thanks! |

Hi I had a quick look because I had once been asked to do something similiar. http://www.outlookexchange.com/articles/glenscales/sqlexch.asp has some very good code examples using ADO to access the information store, while http://www.oaklodge.com/technology/sqlview/default.aspx sell an engine that links SQL to Exchange Hope this helps Laurence |
