Industries.  That is, the two companies are one and the same.

From what I can see of this relatively small enterprise, it appears to
have a pretty clean bill of health.  It has been in business since
1989, has about 15-20 employees at a single location, does about $3
million a year in business, and has a very good credit standing.

pretty much a formality, and the two businesses have always been
closely linked.

is good news.  There was no indication of lawsuits.  No press reports
(positive or negative) on the company, and no record of the company in
the complaints files of the Better Business Bureau at

I'm sorry I didn't make this more clear in my original answer, but my
searches did include looking for business and financial information on
Jim Starr, as well as on the particular business names you asked
about.  Very little information turned up, other than the names of his
current executive team at Starr Industries.

I did not look into Mr. Starr's criminal or military history, since
this was not part of your original question.  Even if it had been,
there are restrictions at Google Answers about providing private
information on private individuals that would have prevented me from
posting such information.

It may be possible for you obrain addtional information on Mr. Starr
himself through commercial services such as this one:
