I want a list of every artist that is likely to put on a live show at
a major venue in the near future.

Basic criteria:  
1) The artist (groups too; could be an orchestra or theater troupe,
for example) does or could command a price for admission, so every
artist Ticketmaster or other major brokers sell tickets for should be
included in this list.
2) The list needs to be used with a database, so an appropriate format
is required (xml, excel, whatever would work)

I?ve already tried the following:
1) Ticketmaster won?t release this information.
2) Pollstar, a firm that collects and disseminates concert info, does
not yet have a database capable of pulling this list together.  At
least that?s what I was told when I offered by buy the list based on
the following site:

I also tried a trial subscription of their service, which allows you
to search their database.  Unfortunately, you can only search for one
artist at a time, and typing ?a? to get all artist that start with the
letter ?a? doesn?t work either.  I concluded that Pollstar is not the
place to go for this info, at least not right now.

An adequate answer will lead me directly to the information, so ?call
Amazon? probably won?t cut it.  Otherwise, I look forward to your
answer!
