Try to disable Firewall and antivirus. Then send a mail. Otherwise post the list of software/hardware on laptop |

Chilli.net.au is rejecting your attempts to send email. This is not a problem on your side per se. You'll need to contact your internet service provider to find out what their "Outingoing SMTP Mail Server" IP address. |

If I understand correctly, on your laptop you are using your Chilli.net.au to connect to the internet, and are trying to use the Optus SMTP server to send your email. It may be that Optus is checking your laptop's IP address when you send email from your laptop, and thus notices that your IP address is NOT one that Optus owns (it is in fact one that Chilli.net.au owns). Optus may then be rejecting the email because your laptop is trying to use their SMTP server even though your laptop is not on the Optus network. I suspect this may be the case, especially since they keep people on their network from using SMTP servers that are not on their network (see http://www.onlymelbourne.com.au/melbourne_details.php?id=3918). |
