It's been some time since Probonopublico has posted a comment. I wonder if he is OK. I suspect he may be away on a secret assignment. Anybody heard from him? |

Thank you for your interesting question but is this really only worth $2? Please see the advice on pricing: http://answers.google.com/answers/help.html QUOTE: The price you set for your question should take into account the following factors: How quickly you want an answer... The higher the price you set for your question, the more likely a Researcher will begin work on your question quickly. Researchers earn 75% of the price of the question when they post an answer to it. (Google Answers keeps only 25% of the price you set once an answer is posted.) How complex the question is... The more complex the question, the more time it requires for a Researcher to answer. A Researcher will only want to answer a complex question if he or she feels adequately compensated for the time expended. If you have a sense of how long it will take a Researcher to find an answer, you should take that into account. For example, if you know your question could take 3 hours to answer, you should price your question higher than you would if your question would take only 15 minutes to answer. How valuable the information is to you... Only you can determine the value of the information you're seeking. If it's important and urgent, you should price your question higher, because a Researcher is more likely to answer higher value questions quickly. UNQUOTE But YES Probo is A-OK (Thanks for asking!) Search strategy: Probo "Secret Assignment" healthwise I trust that my research more than fulfils your expectations but before rating my answer, please Request an Answer Clarification before filing a complaint, etc. All the Best Bryan |

Bryan, You can't disappear. You're featured in an upcoming article about GA. It would just be bad manners to drop out of sight under such circumstances. paf |

I'd give Probono a rating but it won't affect his average rating. Total number of stars = 5 / divided by total number of questions answered = 0. That totals to 0. Pafalafa I'm interested to know more about the upcoming article. Can you give any more details? Bowler |

> wow you guys are such nerds. Yes, but we're really INTERESTING nerds, in part thanks to Probonopublico and the types of questions he asks. After you snag that girlfriend/boyfriend you still need funny and stimulating things to talk about and I might suggest the following Google Answers search strategy: 1. go to http://answers.google.com/answers/ 2. search for probonopublico-ga |

Hi Bowler, many thanks for your question, something that many of us have been wondering about. My respects to Probono for having been able to "take the pledge". I guess Steph got him/you to reply. You are missed - the arch-type commenter - a boon to G-A! Regards, Myoarin |

Hi Stressedmum.... I KNOW he is fine. He has seen this question and added a comment, however, much to all our disappointment, he has not been back. No one can make him to come back to the site but hopefully, one day he'll return for good :-) Steph53 |

What amazing self-discipline! OR - heheh! - Probono maybe found a (new) girlfriend on his vacation in Scotland and is now only pro bono amicae. If so, Daisy, I hope you like her, and please keep us informed, or at least drop by with a good question or comment of your own. |

Well lookee here! Good to hear your master's virtual voice, Daisy!!! Truly serendipitous, too, because on Sat. night, Oz time, I went to friend's new house for dinner and she's got all gorgeous, new, tres expensive furniture and her upholstery fabric was a very designery, clever fabric with words interwoven -- and guess what the words were? Pro bono publico! Could have knocked me down with a feather (or a feather pillow!) I was trying to explain the significance of it all to her and she was kinda backing away and not making eye contact with me, saying, 'Mmm, I see, mmm, that's nice,' in *that* way. When's he due back? Do we send out a search party? Or just have a party? |
