I whould like to know the official requirements for photographs for
Russian Foreign Passport. Typically such requirements include: size,
color, paper type, margins and dispance from the chin, etc.

These requirements are different from requirements for regular
(internal) passport photographs (which I know).

If it similiar to to the regulations of some other countries, you may
have to look like how Stalin or Ivan the Terrible looked when they
were having a bad day.

To apply for a Russian Foreign Passport you must bring 4 identical
photographs 3 cm in width and 4 cm in height, either colour or grey.
Ovalling is optional. Any surface (glossy or mat) is ok. Scanned
photos are not accepted.
To include a 6-year-old and older child into a parent's passport, 3
identical grey mat ovalled photographs of the child are required.

I can also add that you shouldn't smile and when taking a colour
picture be sure to a white or black top. No special margins or
distance from the chin are specified. It's just a normal photo.
