I was fixing a PC at a client's house and they had some WB show
blaring (I think it was Seventh Heaven).
 The characters seemed to make repeated references to going to the gun
range, but I wasn't sure if I heard correctly.
 Did one of these shows feature characters going to the range? If so,
was there a special gun theme (pro or anti) to the show, or was it
just a routine activity for the family that had no bearing on the
plot?

Hello pcventures-ga,

I did find an episode of 7th Heaven that involved a character going to
a gun range.  It seems that this was just routine activity in this
episode and was not a part of a gun theme.  The character in question
is the daughter of a retired police officer, who apparently,
participates in shooting practice with her father.

That sounds like it.
I'm just amazed that going to the range would be presented in such
a routine way.
There's a legitimate culture of responsible civilian gun use
in this country, and it's almost completely ignored by mainstream
media.
