This isn't exactly a question. I'm looking for an image. Can you do that? I need to see what the cover of the September 1974 issue of the magazine "Gentlemen's Quarterly" looks like. If you can't find that, any cover from 1974 will suffice.I'm sure this exists on microfiche or film somewhere. A scan of a microfilm copy would be great. I don't need a clean perfect image, just enough detail to see the logo and general cover layout and headlines, if any. |

Hi cleobald, Good news! I found the September 1974 issue for sale by Reed Books, The Museum of Fond Memories and he took a scan for you. He's been trying to send it to me but our isp isn't cooperating, so the best thing to do would be for you to email Jim and he will email the scan to you directly. Tell him hummer sent you! Reed Books 107 Twentieth Street South Birmingham, AL U.S.A. 35233 (205) 326-4460 jim@jimreedbooks.com http://www.jimreedbooks.com/ I was glad to be able to find this for you, thanks to Jim Reed and his quick response. Thank you, hummer Search Strategy: I searched used books websites until I found the Sept. '74 issue, I then emailed the bookseller. |

You're welcome, cleobald, and thank you for your nice note and rating. Thank goodness there are still some real, independent booksellers left (versus the Amazons) who care about people. Hats off to Jim Reed! Welcome to GA! Sincerely, hummer |
