We are planning to develop a community site using drupal (drupal.org).
I was looking to get a list of sites using it but not only for simple
one person blog/site. For larger community sites, with large number of
blogs (how many each?) or for other specific usages. Thanks.

This one brings up 96,500 results:

Any way you filter it from there is still a huge list.

Thanks for those initial lists but, as I mentioned, I am not really
interested in the quantity of small sites powered by Drupal but rather
to have a list of large ones in terms of number of blogs hosted (how
many each?) or in terms of number of users, posts, other usages...
