I am specifically looking for statistics on the number of 'private
residential sales' in Canada for any or all of the years of 2002, 2003
and/or 2004. I have found statistics on the number of 'listed' sales
on the Multiple Listings Service (MLS), but have been unable to find
statistics on private transactions. For example;

This provides data on the MLS sales totals (MLS listings must use a
Realtor) from 1990-2003 but does not provide data on 'private' sales.
