Hi, well first off rotating actuators can be placed in small places to
perform their task. They can be set from 180 degrees of rotation to 1
degree or( zero movement). They are widely used in "pick and place"
automation and come in all different sizes. I also believe
manufactures use them because they seem to last longer if they are
set-up right other then linear actuators.
